A Message From Our Pastor

Dear Friends,

It is a real joy and privilege to be lead of God to pastor the Friends at Union Cross. There is a real sense of friendliness and warmth among our congregation and the worship services help each of us to be drawn closer to God in each service.

Members of Union Cross Friends feel the church is a spiritual hospital where each person may come for healing and encouragement from Jesus Christ and the body of believers. We are not a holy club where people are perfect, but we are disciples, leaders, and seekers of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We love the Lord and we love to share our love with others who are hurting.

Some of the ways our church reaches out:
Sunday School for all age groups, inspiring worship services with songs by the choir and specials by our members, testimonies, and a message that has come from God.
Youth groups, Mission Trips for both Youth and adults, Vacation Bible School, Senior Citizen's group, Wednesday night Prayer Service, and Sunday night Bible Study.
We support the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, the Yadkin Christian Ministries, New Hope Pregnancy Center, Friends Disaster Service, Quaker Lake Camp, and missionaries at home and abroad.
We play softball, basketball, have golf tournaments, eat together, have pig pickings, chicken stews, knitting and crocheting, ice cream socials, special singings, and family nights with movies or fun and games.

We invite you to come and worship and let God speak to you and lead you to serve others. Let's pray for each other and love each other in such a way that it will be pleasing to our Lord.
